Limited Edition of '95

 Today first period was Ancy teacher's. We started to study Statistics. It was an introduction class which we discussed about What is statistics? What are the uses...data and types of data....like primary and secondary data. I personally liked the class because after a long time studying some mathatics related topic made me feel better😊😊. Second period was taken by George sir. Today we dealt with the topic of creating League tournaments.  Last period was Gibi teacher's. But teacher couldn't take today's class due to a project work.

  Today the first period was Joju sir's. He introduced us a new technology called JAMBOARD. We all wrote some positive thoughts in it and it was so nice and interesting. I loved it.  After that. Physical science students presented their seminar topics. Today we discussed about the topic Merits and Demerits of the Questionnaire. And Schedule : definition, types, purpose, merits.  Second period was Maya teacher's. Today we discussed about the topic Peace and Peace Education.   “The life of inner peace, being harmonious and without stress, is the easiest type of existence.” —Norman Vincent  “Peace does not mean an absence of conflicts; differences will always be there. Peace means solving these differences through peaceful means; through dialogue, education, knowledge; and through humane ways.” --- Dalai Lama  Last was Optional period. We started with Reading and Refelction by Rubeena. Her book was " The fascinating triangular numbers" by Jagan Mohan Rao. 

  Today the first period was taken by Gibi ma'am. Today we dealt with Learning Theories. Learning Theories are of two types: 1)Association theories or connection theories or SR theories.    It proposes, if we get a stimulus, we learn, that is learning is only through doing . a)The famous psychologists Thorndike proposed, Trial and Error learning  ( Trial and error learning means if the trials increases errors decreases.)                              b) Conditional learning ( Classical conditioning by Ivan Pavlov and Operant conditioning by Skinner). All these psychologists says that, learning occurs only through experiences.  2)Field theories or cognitive theories. It implies that learning occurs only through thinking process. These collectively known as Gestalt Psychology. Second period was Optional. Today we started with the remaining Reading and Refelction at first. Aleena has shared the experiences she has gained while reading the book : " Teaching Mathematics through Game

 Today the first period was taken by Maya teacher. Today we discussed about the topic Population Education.  Second period was taken by Ancy ma'am. We today discussed about the topic Evolution of Education in Kerala. That occurred through 5 stages. : Education during Sangam period, Education during Post Sangam Period, Education during Kulasekhara Period, Education under Provincial Rulers, Education during Post Independence period. Different kinds of educational development that happened in Kerala during this time have been discussed.  Third period was taken by Joju sir. Today Malayalam optional concluded their presentation topic Grading and Social science optional started their's. Their topic was The comparisom between Marking and Grading system. 

 Mathematicians are like a blind man who is looking for a black cat in a dark room, which actually doesn't exist there...                                                      - Galileo Today the first class was taken by Deepthi teacher. Reading and reflection presentation was today prepared by Emily and Archana. Both of them presented very well.  Second period was Second period was taken by Joju sir. The online seminar presentation was by English optional. They concluded their topic about Evaluation and Assessment.  Later Malayalam optional started their presentations on the topic: Grading System. 

  There is a Pirate in every one of us ' Kalyan C. Kankanala Today the first period was taken by Maya teacher. The topic we discussed about was 'intellectual property'.  The second period was Ancy teacher's. Today we didn't have any class but instead we had a test paper on Radhakrishan commission or University Education Commission.  Third period was taken by Joju sir. As usual English optional students took their presentation topics. 

  Today the first class was Gibi teacher's. We discussed about Forgetting. Forgetting means the inability or failure to remember or recall or recognise things temporarily or permanently. Simply, it is the failure to retrieve the information we have already stored. The different types of forgetting: natural forgetting like lack of disuse, lack of utilisation, ageing, lacks of time, etc... And abnormal forgetting like amnesia, repression, dementia, alzheimer's etc... Then what are the causes for forgetting? Ageing, interference of new learning, lack of sleep, lack of interest and will to learn, emotional disturbance like stress and anxiety, mindfullness, medication, lack of registration, health issues, lack of practice etc... The second period was taken by Deepthi teacher. Today we discussed about the TPCK.... Integrating technology in pedagogical content knowledge.  The  Technological pedagogical content knowledge  (TPCK or  TPACK ) framework describes the kinds of knowledge re
