 The day after the splendid inauguration, today all were a bit tired. Some of the students were absent too.  The day started with the class of Maya teacher. Today we continued the seminar section conducted by English optional. While presenting their topic on Indian Dances, they done it in a different way....by demonstrating each of the dances...Jis and Kavya sone it really nicely. Next there were a mini-debate like conversation on the topic of Women and Her probelms....her role in society....history etc... Next was optional class. We today continued the seminar presentations. Afternoon session was Joju sir's. Today he was not available so Deepthi miss took over the class and has instructed Natural science department to take their seminar topic. They did their presentation on the topic E-CONTENT.  Later again Maya miss occupied the class and continued the seminar presentation. March 24 Today was our 65th Union Inauguration. NISARGA 2021. The formation... When I entered the college all were in a hurry on preparing for the stage performance. Practising rigorously...  I was too started practising our band's program. As a part of Union inauguration we formed a new band officially 'Theolaya'.  The program started at 9 30 am. The chief guests arrived on time and its began the blasting...  After the welcoming speech Mr. Rajan Varghese delivered a very profound talk about our education system. Later our principal Dr. K. Y. Benedict sir , Giby teacher and Bursar also delivered speeches. And by the words of Giby teacher I can say that, ഞാൻ ഒരു തന്റേടി ആണ്.   Then Kumari. Nayana performed an energetic dance...she didnt forget to drag all our teachers to the stage too... It was really a blast.  Then our dance crew has performed the Pooja Dance. The Fresher's Day.... GLUCOSE , its name😁😁. Our day... Arrived at the college with enthusiasm... Excitement filled my mind thinking about getting some ' പണികൾ '... Our seniors were in college getting ready for their photo taking session with teachers. All looked fantastic.  Fresher's Day celebration started... All the first years came to the auditorium. Seniors welcomed us by giving a spoon of glucose.😂  Chief guest RJ Unni came and shared one of his personal experience in School days , talked about his favourite teacher who happens to be a Sister ,how she encouraged him to participate in programs and how her confidence in him made the R J Unni who he is today. Yes, we can call her 'A Teacher'. While hearing all the speeches there comes snack box....it was a big one...beyond y expectation. The topic covered today was Cultural diffusion, Enculturation, Aculturation and Cultural Inertia.  Later English optional class students continued their presentation. All done well.  Next class was taken by our principal Dr. Benedict sir. Sir today taught about the sub-skills Questioning and Explanation. Also  Heterogeneous thinking -natural characteristics of any group of things was the first point sir gave. To convert a heterogeneous classroom into homogeneous is one of the professional task faced by teachers... Then moved onto different question types. Developmental questions competency is based on the experience of teacher .Evaluation questions can by Summative(Assessment on spot),Formative(time based) or Prognostic(predictive) in nature . These 3 days where the most important days of our seniors.... It was critical moments in their life. Atlast the days of their B.Ed came to an end.  On these days...they have gone through so many things commissions, teaching,viva....and also we were acted as the students for them in order to make the class effective for them. All the classes were really nice. It was really a profit for us because we could observe how we need to take classes in our coming days...in the fourth semester. On all these days, from 9 30 am to 12 30pm were for the classes of seniors...and afternoon sessions were occupied by our General subject teachers. Today was a really wonderful day for me. The day started with the first hour of Ancy teacher...not first but the first two hours she managed us😁😁. The topic was , Dr. Maria Montessori... A famous Italian doctor who established the Montessori method of Education.  Third hour was Maya teacher's. Today we discussed about the topic Sociological perspectives of Education : Culture, its meaning, material and non material culture, Cultural lag. Fourth hour occupied by our Joju sir. Sir taught us about the use and importance of Blackboard in education system. Sir also mentioned about the Operation Blackboard in India ( Operation  Blackboard  is a centrally sponsored programme which was started in 1987 immediately after the Rajiv Gandhi National Policy on Education of 1986 was released to supply the bare minimum crucial facilities to all primary schools in the country .)   After the sleepless night... I came to MTTC with the School Induction Report in my hand. All were busy working on their reports...a last minute touch. The first period was Jibi teacher's. She continued to teach about the previous topic Characteristics of Personality. Today we dealt with Defence Mechanism. Our mind take decisions its own.  She also mentioned about the great quote on bible that:           " Faith chase out all the fear, sorrow and stress" Also she taught us freely a therapy.... Um....Um... Therapy. It is a really helpful therapy for so many. The second day of school induction program. Again to Sarvodaya ICSE school. With its 48 years of successful memories, Sarvodaya's glory is still reflecting... Today too we were assigned to do examination duty. While the exam going on... I went through my past...the time when I was a student. Those days I often thought about what actually these teachers doing in an examination hall. Just walking around...doing nothing. But today as a teacher I can say that it was not just walking or looking at a class...but a really tiering thing. It was a very good experience since in the nearby future I am going to face situations like this alot... (Meanwhile got energizers : A cup of Tea). The first day of school induction program.  Everybody was excited. Together towards SARVODAYA ICSE SCHOOL . Our team arrived at the school right on time ; 08:00 am. The warmth of the school welcomed us... It was really a big building. Its head was held up in the sky.... The first thing that caught my sight was the name : Sarvodaya which means 'universal uplift' also 'progress of all '...the term introduced by our Mahatma Gandhi . We were treated very well by the staffs, teachers and especially the beloved principal Dr. James T Joseph sir. Each time we spent with them were memorable. First we got the examination duty...the teachers as well as the students called us 'teacher'. It was really a nice experience....They suggested to take a look at hiw exams are conducting and how we need to behave in an examination hall.  A lovely day.... Today first class was taken by Jibi teacher. She taught us the topic 'Characteristics of Personality'. The difference between Acceptance and Adjustment was the main subject we discussed today. "If you get all the things you wish for....it will leads to adjustment..." That is, when we reach our goal, there will be adjustment.  If the goal is too high to reach....it is like കിട്ടാത്ത മുന്തിരി പുളിക്കും ...😅😅😅 Next hour was Maya teacher's.  05/03/2021 This was a casual day. First of all our seniors continued their demonstration classes....group classes... They had used so many teaching aids such that ICT, charts...activity based classes...group activities.... At the first class we were divided into 4 groups and conducted mini activities...our group got the first prize and we all enjoyed our gift together....for a little time we all went to our good old memories about school life...we became students again....It was really nice. After completing those classes, we continued our micro teaching classes.  Afternoon was started with a session about to know about our Library facilities. The Librarian gave a very informative speech about how to use our library and what are the facilities our library providing to all of us.  After that our beloved principal came to the class and announced about the school induction program. 04/03/2021 The day started as usual.  After we headed towards yoga class where sir taught the importance of yoga and told about the purification process happens in our body during yoga. He told us about the MAKARASANA.  Then we went for our optional classes. As we entered the class, our seniors was there and they welcomed us with a pleasant smile. Today was their demonstration classes for us. They, as a team demonstrated the ways to take a class. It was really helpful for us to improve our teaching.  03/04/2021 The day started with the assembly of English department. 'NIYUKTHA'... The assembly started with the prayer...after pledge and campus news(which was really funny)...our principal Dr. Benedict sir gave a message on the importance of Hardwork.... Don't stop at 200feet ....go for the 220feet...the prize will be yours... After assembly, we rushed to our class. First period was Optional. We had conducted the remaining Micro Teaching Sessions.  After that it was Ancy teacher's class. Today we dealt with Froebel's Educational Ideals.  In between teacher told us to sing a song. So our friend Subhash sang a beautiful song. Maya teacher was next. We continued to study about Pragmatism: activity centered method.  Afternoon session was occupied by Joju sir. He dealt with the topic Audio Visual Aids.....what is the educational implications etc... Last period was PE. Today we were told to calculate our BMI.
