Ummm....๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

 

After the sleepless night... I came to MTTC with the School Induction Report in my hand. All were busy working on their reports...a last minute touch.

The first period was Jibi teacher's. She continued to teach about the previous topic Characteristics of Personality. Today we dealt with Defence Mechanism. Our mind take decisions its own. 

She also mentioned about the great quote on bible that:

          "Faith chase out all the fear, sorrow and stress"

Also she taught us freely a therapy.... Um....Um... Therapy.

It is a really helpful therapy for so many. Because may be our presence and listening mentality itself can make miracles in others life.

The next hour was taken by beloved principal Dr. Benedict sir along with Bindu ma'am and Joju sir to have our feedback on the school induction programme. Representatives of each group were shared their group's experiences at the school. According to all school induction programme was a very wonderful experience and unforgettable as well as a very profitable occasion were we got the opportunity to know 'what is teaching, what is the significance of a good and effective teacher...'. 


At 12.10 pm the Oath taking ceremony. Our union members were all set to take over the college. We are all proud to have them. 


Afternoon session was first occupied by Ancy teacher. She conducted test on Froebel Kindergarten system. 

Next was at 02:00 pm sharp with the coordination of Womens' Club there was a programme conducted by Womens' cell.

 There were 3 officials came. They told us about the problems facing by women in our society.  Also discussed about the Victim nature and smart nature. In this society we need to maintain the Smart nature to face all the difficulties. They also said about the emergency numbers for women like,     1091, 112, 9995399953 and 1515. Also so many survival  based activities were trained by them. 

 


After the wonderful session the classes ended. 

There were a sweet distribution by the union members....we all got one laddoo...it was so tastey that I wanted more...

UNDERSTANDING LEARNING TEACHING. Started from the 3 stages of teaching/learning.... Understand where you are .. Understanding the concept before teaching... The personality of a teacher/ learner... From Energisers....listening(be intellectual not be emotional)....providing contents through allegories....the learners will start to transform.  The curriculum,syllabus,text,lesson plan, class, learning: input and output.....  All these concepts were taught well with so many activities like students' involvements, songs, interactions....  A teacher should have A  S M I L E with him... Being Gifted actually a Gift?

 A new task given by Deepthi teacher : Watch an education related movie and write about the educational insight reflecting in it. Watching movies is always refreashing and enjoyable. Since it is a task now, I need to not only just watch it but also observe it in a different way, by means of the intentions. I chose the movie Gifted . Today was really an interesting day.  The first class was Maya teacher's. She started the class by reciting a few lines:  “ Anantham, ajnatam, avarnaneeyam, Ee loka golam tiriyunna maargam; Atinkalengandoridatthirunnu Nokkunna martyan kathayentu kandu?” (“Infinite, unknown and ineffable The way this cosmos moves round; What’s found the man, sitting Somewhere there, looking on?”) –  Naalappaattu Naaraayana Menon. And started the class on the topic Realism. We travelled through the Aims of education, Harmony and curriculum related with Realism. According to realism, God is a concept not a reality. And she taught us to find happiness on every little things which makes us feel good. Try to smile more... Next class was Archana teacher's.
