Limited Edition of '95

 Today the first period was Optional. Deepthi teacher continued the discussion on the unit Models of Teaching in Practice. Today we dealt with the topic Elements of models of teaching. Focus, syntax, social system, principle of reaction, support system, application and effects. Second hour was Joju sir's. We continued the topic of Purpose of Educational Evaluation or Functions of Evaluation. Types of evaluation: formative and summative.  Also discussed about Internal and External Evaluation.

  Today the first class was Ancy teacher's. We started the class with a prayer. And she started checking our notes and then carried a Q/A section. After that we discussed about the Slow learners and Underachievers. Their differences, causes, identifying them, approaches and remedial measures etc...     Slow learners are those who have IQ above 70, but learn at a reduced rate... Low intelligence and achievement whereas underachievers are those who achieve very low level academically. Next we learnt about mentally challenged children...who have IQ below 70...they have limited intelligence and social inadequacy...how we can identify them, causes, how to prevent and how to educate them... Next hour was Giby teacher's. We continued our discussion on the topic Sensation and Perception. Type of learners like Visual learners, Auditory learners etc... Different methods to cater our senses. And wind up the topic sensation. And we entered to next topic Perception.                       

  Today the class started in a different way with our Giby ma'am. We did a simple meditation- a sensory training. Because we were starting our new semester topic Sensation and Perception. Sensation it is a process by which our sense organs or senses recieves information from the environment. The 5 sense organs are the receptors of the stimuli from the external body .  Then she showed a book cover and tell us to identify different things we see in it. To understand about the selective perception (of our eyes here). It also applicable for all the sense organs.  Next hour was optional subject. Today we discussed about our topics for documentary.  My group selected the topic of Mathematics related to the life of small insects.  We are gathering as much information for the work as we can. Next was Maya teacher's class. We continued the discussion on our first unit. We entered to the detailed discussion.  We more discussed about the language of Dravidian age. There were approximately

Today in our class,at first hour with our Maya teacher, we got a time travel to the past..... Through the days of civilizations... Through the Indus Valley...Maya civilization....Through the Dravidian Culture.  We started from Harappa, Mohanjodaro,their life styles...to the Siberian connections and then had a glance of Konark temple, Humpi, Yellora caves etc... Their cultures...Dravidian relationships... were discussed.  Evolution of Dravida word: തമിഴ  - ദ്രമിള - ദ്രമിഡ  - ദ്രവിഡ   We ended the journey with these introductions and the technological developments happened in that time. Next hour was Ancy teacher's. She continued our topic on Individual differences. " Individual difference is the variations or deviations among the individuals with regard to a single characteristic or a number of characteristics ." - Cater V Good  We also discussed about types of individual differences : inter individual difference and intra individual difference.   Today was a special day... Our second semester started. The classes started about 8 30 am. First class was Optional. Our new semester started with our Deepthi miss. We discussed about the syllabus, scheme and works of semester 2 and had some doubt clarifications. We officially just started our syllabus. We have given two works to be done. Next class was Joju sir's. He is taking the subject "Assessment". He started the class with prayer and we started our first class of assessment. He said that, the basic tool for assessment is nothing but TESTS. And there are so many techniques for assessments like..interviews, group discussions, observations etc... Also he discussed about the news about the suicide cases of IIM students....its because they were taught to study the materials only...not the life. So it implies that proper assessments on education in any level of class is vital.  The assessments can be found in BC 425 by Plato...BC 150 in Thakshashila....AD 450 Nalanda...

 Today we were all wondered.... Because the new semester started. The whole google classroom links were send by our principal. Today the first class was taken by George sir. We started with a prayer since it is the starting of new semester. I sang the Universal prayer today. We discussed about muscles and the various muscle contractions...like isotonic,isometric and isokinetic. Later we also went through the circulatory system, respiratory system etc... Next was Giby teacher's class. Today was her birthday. We filled the chat box with wishes.🥰🥰🥰 In today's class we discussed about the topic Creativity.

May 31, 2021  Today the class started with optional class. We are on the stage of preparing lesson plans. We were discussing about the steps in lesson plans that needed more stress.  Later it was inauguration program of Health Club. I am also a member of  this club. We were preparing for this program for a long period before. The program started at 11 am by a prayer(sang by me😁). The chief guest of our program was Mr. Anand Narayan.... A famous yoga trainer...singer...mentor... The program was reay interesting with his class. He inaugurated our club " SWASTHA ": Divitiae Salutis Est. It was a really worthy program.  Atlast we were honoured to hear some wonderful songs from our guest...🥰🥰
