Run Girl Run... 'cos time is running...๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿป‍♀️⏰

Today the class started in a different way with our Giby ma'am. We did a simple meditation- a sensory training. Because we were starting our new semester topic Sensation and Perception.

Sensation it is a process by which our sense organs or senses recieves information from the environment. The 5 sense organs are the receptors of the stimuli from the external body

Then she showed a book cover and tell us to identify different things we see in it. To understand about the selective perception (of our eyes here). It also applicable for all the sense organs.

Next hour was optional subject. Today we discussed about our topics for documentary.

My group selected the topic of Mathematics related to the life of small insects.

We are gathering as much information for the work as we can.

Next was Maya teacher's class. We continued the discussion on our first unit. We entered to the detailed discussion.

We more discussed about the language of Dravidian age. There were approximately 70 languages in its list. It is using in countries like India, Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh.....   Also it has a connection with Sumerian language.

The evidences of the language were discovered from the ancient literatures and inscriptions. Also from the excavations of our civilizations. The language of Dravidians : Pazhamtamil (proto dravidian language) from which most of our south indian languages derived.

Next was the Educational Institutions. Each institution constructed differently in different regions : pallikudam, kidai(for sankrit education) and shalai(higher education center). All these were connected with temples. The temples in dravidian period is not only a place for devotional purpose but also it was a cultural center.

Next division of educational institutions for recreational functions...for entertainments : manram(like...wrestlings), mandapam(expressions of art forms), madom (conveying the vedic values through stories etc..)

Final was for abstract social functions : avai, sangam, sabha and naattukootam.

All these shows the importance of 3H's in an individual. Head, Heart and Hand. The cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain.

After the class I just looked around my room... To work on my sensory perception as suggested by Giby teacher. My eyes firstly got attention on the wall painting that I did in my room. Because that painting always makes me happy... It is so cute.

And then I looked on my clock. And realised it is 12 pm...and how fast the seconds needle moving...which means our time...our life is going fast and I thought that..."Then why am I sitting here watching it!!!" Get up and do your things...time is running ... So you too need to rush... It does not go backward. If you want to do anything now... Do it now...๐Ÿค“
