Limited Edition of '95

 28/01/2022, Friday. Today I had my first online class a s a teacher. I was well prepared but my health was not that good -- I am covid positive now😬. But after all, I decieded to take the class because it was my duty and responsibility towards the students, teachers, course and towards myself.  The class started at 8 pm... In online mode there was an extra class join along with the 9D students whom I teaching offline mode. So now its 9D and 9M.  I started the class at 8 pm, continued the chapter Similar Triangles, last portion. Some of the students were so attendive and gave answer to my questions. But when I called names of some others they were not even answering. Online classes.....🤦🏻‍♀️ I used drawing pad for the blackboard work. And showed ppt instead of charts and activity cards. I took the class till 9 pm.  29/01/2022, Saturday. Today I had class from 6 pm to 7 pm. Today I started the class with a game. "Pick a number". The students need to select a number...

20/01/2022, Thursday  .  Today I reached at the school on 8 30 am. Our school today was a vaccination center for students of age 15+. So there were no classes for students except 9, 10, 11 and 12.  So many parents and students came for the vaccination. The total area were so under the control of principal and Head master along with the police officers.  I took my last offline classes for my students today. I took the last portion of the second part of chapter Similar Triangles. I needed one more class to complete the chapter.  I selected the best group and star among the students according to their previous day's tally marks and gave small gifts. They were so happy and we end the class after saying to see them on online. After that, I got vaccination center duty. Me along with one of my friend stay there till the completion of vaccination.  Day 11 of teaching practice end today.....   More to go along with online ......🧑‍💻.

  19/01/2022. Today I reached at the school on 8 30 am. We went for signing the attendance sheet. And as usual when the first bell rang went for our duty. Later that I went for the class observation of one of my friends. Ancy. She was taking Biology for the 9th standard students. Her presentation was nice. Previous knowledge checking was done in a nice way. So many slides related to her topic were presented. Students also asking for videos to be watched. Overall it was a nice class.  Later me along with one of my friends went for mid day meal duty. I was in charge of coconut shaving.😅  Later returned to our alloted area and rested for some time.  I had class on 5th period. Today I continued to teach the chapter Similar Triangles : Sides and Angles. 6th period was also free for them so I took that class too.  18/01/2022 Today I reached school early at 8:15 am.  Waited at the resting area. At 8 35 am we all went to sign our attendance sheet. When the first bell rang, went for the duty alloted area. Since the covid cases are rising, there were a very little number of students present today.  After the duty we returned to the hall and I went for the observation of the class of one of my friends Megha. She is taking English subject to the 8th standard students at the girls wing.  It was a quite nice class. Since the number of stydents were less, the presented students were inactive. Her introduction was nice and did dictation. Then continued to teach the lesson she was taking. It was a poem : Village Blacksmith.  17/01/2022 Today I arrived at the school at 8 30 am.  After signing the attendance sheet we all went for line duty. I have class at 10: 05 am. The second period. I took the continuation of Chapter Similar Triangles.  After that I went to observation of few classes of my friends. Lekshmi from physical science... Her class was really nice. The demonstration was really nice. Even I can understand so many things that I didn't know for a long time. We all should show and teach this kind of things so that students can learn more thoroughly.  Later I had my lunch from the canteen.  Empty classrooms......

 15/01/2022 Yesterday 14/01/2022 was a holiday due to Pongal.  Today I arrived at the school sharp 8 30 and along with some of my friends went to the office to sign our attendance. After that, when the first bell rang we went for the line duty. I forgot to mention that student police cadets, ncc students are all also doing the duty along with us. Those students come to the school very early.  Today since the covid cases rising unexpectedly, there were a few number of students were present. In some classes there were only 1 student and some were empty. After the tiring duty( beacusr of the heat), we returned to our alloted area for resting. I had class on 3rd period. Till then I was preparing for the class.  Since it was so hot there and all the fans were off, one of my friends went to searching the switches and found it and make it on.  13/01/2022 The day started with the as usual things. Later after the line duty, today I was really impressed by the prayer song. The students today sang it really nicely.  Well disciplined. I had class on 5th period. So in between I accompanied one of my friends to their concerned class to observe.  I observed some mistakes and also some very interesting tips from her and I discussed it with her. At my period, I again took the previous day topic for the second batch students.  As the previous day I gave activities to the students to be done in the groups. They all did it nicely.  Then we got to the lunch distribution area for having our lunch with students.  Today there were Avial, Sambar and salad for the meal, which was really tasty.
