എന്ന് തങ്കമ്മ നൂറുമ്മ 😘😅

 Today we started with the first ever assembly at MTTC conducted by M.Ed students. The association name was AGNI 2021. Started with the beautiful prayer, news, thought of the day, importance of the day, ....there came our MTTC college news...which was really funny. Our beloved principal Dr. Benedict sir gave us a meaningful speech through a Bamboo story. Later principal sir along with Regu sir published a book too. 

The assembly dispersed by the college anthem and national anthem. It was so nice that after 6 years I attended an assembly😅.

Our first class was started with our Deepthi amma. Our presentation classes continued today with Josena's topic on Language, Role intuition and Reasoning of Mathematics. 



Later we had the new class of our Arts teacher. We just started the class but he gave us the idea that the coming classes will be more challenging for us. I felt great to sit in such a talent person's class. With a light equipment, he made our class with splendid waves. I believe that at the end of this Arts class we will get great actors and actresses.🥰.



Next was Jibi teacher's class. She taught us about ' The Learner Experience'... As usual along with that she gave us an another funny story about "തങ്കമ്മയുടെ കത്ത് ", where the way Thankamma explained a simple news in a critically complex manner to her husband,  which made us to think about the way we need to explain any subject..aka the axioms of teaching....from simple to complex...from known to unknown...from particular to abstract...etc ...

Next was Maya teacher's class. She continued to teach about naturalism. But today she started in a different way by asking us to sing a song related to Nature. I too sang a song😅...there were 2 more students sang different songs. And teacher told us to make dance steps along with the song....were 4 more students joined.... Everyone did a very good job👌👌

The Educational implication of naturalism...its merits were discussed in the class. Personally, I like the idea of naturalism such that...the nature will provide all the knowledge a child needed...and child will be treated as child not a miniature adult. 

Second last class was Ancy teacher's . She continued the topic Kohlberg's theory of moral development. 

Last class was Joju sir's. Sir gave us the seminar topics. Also he suggested us some books to be read. For tomorrow we promised him that we will read the book 'Skill with people' by Les Giblin.

College is getting ready to welcome NCTE V.T. members tomorrow. Hoping for the best👍🏼

Being Gifted actually a Gift?

 A new task given by Deepthi teacher : Watch an education related movie and write about the educational insight reflecting in it. Watching movies is always refreashing and enjoyable. Since it is a task now, I need to not only just watch it but also observe it in a different way, by means of the intentions. I chose the movie Gifted . MTTC ൽ ഇന്ന് " കൊല " നടന്നു😱 : ഒന്നല്ല.... അതുക്കും മേലെ.🤪

Today was really an interesting day.  The first class was Maya teacher's. She started the class by reciting a few lines:  “ Anantham, ajnatam, avarnaneeyam, Ee loka golam tiriyunna maargam; Atinkalengandoridatthirunnu Nokkunna martyan kathayentu kandu?” (“Infinite, unknown and ineffable The way this cosmos moves round; What’s found the man, sitting Somewhere there, looking on?”) –  Naalappaattu Naaraayana Menon. And started the class on the topic Realism. We travelled through the Aims of education, Harmony and curriculum related with Realism. According to realism, God is a concept not a reality. And she taught us to find happiness on every little things which makes us feel good. Try to smile more... Next class was Archana teacher's.
