 First class of Psychology by Gibi miss started by reciting the lines of  famous poet Ulloor....

The world of masks making us different....

Masks are changing the way we look at each other, and ourselves. 

After this we entered the new topic 'Learning process'. Every individual do anything if they 'need' it....so, that will generate a drive inside us ....which make the organism in disequilibrium position....and the responses starts to occur but due to some barriers they will be blocked...finally through the perfect process of all these, our goal will be achieved.

Also she taught us the another topic called 'Learning climate'. The factors affecting the environment of the learner are like...the ventillation,lighting,peer group,seating arrangement,distractions,...etc.

She also mentioned about the Universal law aka 80-20% principle and also about the Swan effect.( Swan visible to us as a peacefully swimming creature....what we cannot see it's legs from outside which are working hard to move forward).

Which shows that: 'Only Hardwork makes success'.

Next was Maya teacher's class. We were so tensed because she was supposed to conduct a test today. But we were lucky that she postponed it....

So she continued to teach us about Realism. After that, as a part of Realism the Maxims of teaching discussed....from simple to complex, from known to unknown etc... Next was about AV aids and Sequencing of teaching: Herbatian Steps of Lesson Planning( Preparation/Introduction, Presentation, Comparison&Association,Generalization, Application and Recapitulation), which I made a trick for remembering like,   "Herbartian-nte CAR Poi GeeP vannu" using the first letters of each steps. 

After that, in our optional class, Sajin made a talk about the book he read " Verukal" by Malayattoor Ramakrishnan. Which was the semi autobiography ....tells the story of Raghu and his life... One of the famous lines from the story which my attention seeked was: 

"ഞായറാഴ്ചകെളെ ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു , കാരണം അച്ഛൻ എന്ന വീട്ടിൽ ഉണ്ടാകും"

He presented it nicely.

Next our Neema chechi presented her assignment topic Human Need as the Basis of Growth of Mathematics. We made a journey from prehistoric maths and through various civilizations.....till 19th century maths. It was really effective. 

Afternoon session was first took by Ancy teacher. She started new unit from the subject Educational Technology. It dealt with Communication and Types of communication.

Last class was Joju sir's. He started the class by saying a few good thoughts, like... 

നമ്മുടെ കൂടെ ഉള്ളവരുടെ സ്വഭാവം അനുസരിച്ച് മാറുന്നത് ആകരുത് നമ്മുടെ സ്വഭാവം ...

ചെറിയ ഒരു ചിന്ത വലിയ മാറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് വേദിയാകും ....

He also said some facts about how the percentage of perceiving information varies by using our senses differently which I had read on the book "SKILL WITH PEOPLE" by Les Giblin  (Insight #1 and Insight #2).

After that he entered to the subject through the lecturing on : 10 most important characters of Teaching Aid. 

Thus the class ended.
