Mathematics: The Science of Science and the Art of Art.

 As usual the day started with the prayer at the chapel.

After that, there was an inaugural function of Phonetic lab. Our beloved principal Dr. Benedict Sir inaugurated the lab. Now on students can improve their English communication if they use this facility fully.



First period was taken by Ancy teacher. Teacher started to teach about Kolhberg's Theory of Moral Development.


Next was Joju sir's class. He gave us ideas about 5M's and the 4 revolutions of technology.



Later was Maya teacher's class. She continued to teach the school ' Naturalism' of philosophy.


4th and 5th period was optional. Our frnds Kavya and Archana done their presentations very nicely.

Kavya's topic : Nature and scope of Mathematics 

Archana : Presentation of the Reading and Reflection " Pathummayude Aadu" by Bashir.



After that Jibi teacher taught us about Scope if educational psychology. 

Last class was taken by Joju sir. We discussed about the advantages and disadvantages of Media.

MEDIA


Today while listening to Archana's reading and reflection presentation, I remembered a funny talk of Vaikom Muhammed Bashir, which I wanted to share here, 

"ഭാരതമെന്നു കേട്ടാൽ അഭിമാനപൂരിതമാകണം അന്തരംഗം

കേരളമെന്നു കേട്ടാലോ തിളക്കണം ചോര ഞരമ്പുകളിൽ " .....    എന്ന  വള്ളത്തോളിന്റെ വരികളോട് മറുപടിയായി ബഷീർ ഇങ്ങനെയാണ് പറഞ്ഞത് : 

"എൻറെ കൈകളിൽ ആകെ കുറച്ചു രക്തം മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളൂ അത് തിളപ്പിച്ചു കളയാൻ എനിക്ക് സൗകര്യമില്ല"😅😅

Being Gifted actually a Gift?

 A new task given by Deepthi teacher : Watch an education related movie and write about the educational insight reflecting in it. Watching movies is always refreashing and enjoyable. Since it is a task now, I need to not only just watch it but also observe it in a different way, by means of the intentions. I chose the movie Gifted . MTTC ൽ ഇന്ന് " കൊല " നടന്നു😱 : ഒന്നല്ല.... അതുക്കും മേലെ.🤪

Today was really an interesting day.  The first class was Maya teacher's. She started the class by reciting a few lines:  “ Anantham, ajnatam, avarnaneeyam, Ee loka golam tiriyunna maargam; Atinkalengandoridatthirunnu Nokkunna martyan kathayentu kandu?” (“Infinite, unknown and ineffable The way this cosmos moves round; What’s found the man, sitting Somewhere there, looking on?”) –  Naalappaattu Naaraayana Menon. And started the class on the topic Realism. We travelled through the Aims of education, Harmony and curriculum related with Realism. According to realism, God is a concept not a reality. And she taught us to find happiness on every little things which makes us feel good. Try to smile more... Next class was Archana teacher's.
