We just started BLOOMing...

The new month arrived.

Today was our first Micro Teaching session. All my friends prepared for that and me too. Deepthi ma'am arrived at 9 30 and we began our venture.

We conducted the session according to the order given by ma'am. 

1. Skill of Set Induction :- Shilpa.😃   
2. Skill of Stimulus Variation :- Revathy(Me).😅 
3. Skill of Questioning :- Neema.❓  
4. Skill of Reinforcement :- Archana.🍬
5. Skill of Blackboard :- Aswathy. ⬛
6. Skill of Explanation :- Rubeena.✳️
7. Skill of Illustration with example :- Aby.🔢 
8. Skill of Demonstration :- Sajin.🛂
9. Skill of Class Management :- Pranav.✔️✖️
10. Skill of Closure :- Kavya.👩‍🏫

Everyone did a good job. We were the students and also the evaluators. The evaluators and Deepthi teacher examined our class and gave suggestions and criticism in order to make our product more effective.

 According to my teaching, I gave more importance to the topic I selected which made me to take the class in an extra speedy manner....(like Payyoli Express ;Sajin said😂😂).. So I forgot to Pause and Focus more on students which are the two sub-skills  of my main skill Stimulus Variation. So next time I will give more focus on my Skill👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼.

In morning, we had the class of our princial sir too. He continued the class on Micro Teaching. Today he dealt with the skills Stimulus Variation and Questioning. 



We discussed about Multisensory Approach or the 360⁰ Approach.

In the Skill of Questioning, we went through Types of Questioning( Lower,Middle and Higher orders. ), Closed and Open Questions,Developmental and Evaluative , and Bloom's Taxonomy as well as Revised Bloom's Taxonomy.

In order to frame a question, we must aware of so many things... Like wording, language, Inductive method, Simple language in minimum words etc.... Simple language with minimum words means Sir gave an example; Lord Byron once wrote a poem and he got the first prize for that... The poem is:- " Water saw its Master,.                                                 and blushed...".                                         The language is simple and there are minimum words but the meaning it gives is out of our imagination... A question should be like this too. 

He said to us to make up some questions and asked two students to read it. He pointed out the mistakes in those questions and suggested the perfect form it should follow. 

The session ended after discussing about the two Stems of question : Content stem and Question stem.

Today was really an interesting day.  The first class was Maya teacher's.  A new task given by Deepthi teacher : Watch an education related movie and write about the educational insight reflecting in it. Watching movies is always refreashing and enjoyable. Dr. Hari sir The Hero and Talent Hunt : Day 3

Today was a really really wonderful day.  Dr. Hari sir..... What a person!!! Excellent speaker....motivator....teacher.....
