Teaching practice : day 1

 Today our first day of school teaching practice. I was so tensed at first. But the teachers and my peers gave me full support so that I could do better.

Entered the big gate of St. Mary's, Pattom school with great expectations... Because this will be the time that makes every teacher trainees a well modified teacher. Like one legend said... We need to hit at hot iron to make a perfect shape with it...,these days will be like that.



As the Asia's second most student studying institution, St. Mary's Pattom school has its own pride... Principal Babu father and Headmaster  Bijo Geevarghese ( our lovely Gibi Geevarghese teacher's brother) were giving full support for us. 



My concerned teacher is Manju Medayil teacher. Teacher is such a realy loving person and have a good supporting behaviour. My classes are 8P and 9D... She helped me to overcome my difficulties. 

We were given the center portion of the auditorium to sit and make ourselves comfortable. It was a huge auditorium and even inside that auditorium there are classes...

The students were nice. But according to the 9th class students they have a very little previous knowledge while class 8 students were so active and really nice standards.

One day completed....More to go......


I personally needed a workout for me to lower my body weight...but now I can definitely say that...this whole month will make me fit and perdect because one of my classes is at the downfloor and one at the topmost floor.. I need to run between these classes and yes I am realy tired....😅😅😅

Being Gifted actually a Gift?

 A new task given by Deepthi teacher : Watch an education related movie and write about the educational insight reflecting in it. Watching movies is always refreashing and enjoyable. Since it is a task now, I need to not only just watch it but also observe it in a different way, by means of the intentions. I chose the movie Gifted . Today was really an interesting day.  The first class was Maya teacher's. She started the class by reciting a few lines:  “ Anantham, ajnatam, avarnaneeyam, Ee loka golam tiriyunna maargam; Atinkalengandoridatthirunnu Nokkunna martyan kathayentu kandu?” (“Infinite, unknown and ineffable The way this cosmos moves round; What’s found the man, sitting Somewhere there, looking on?”) –  Naalappaattu Naaraayana Menon. And started the class on the topic Realism. We travelled through the Aims of education, Harmony and curriculum related with Realism. According to realism, God is a concept not a reality. And she taught us to find happiness on every little things which makes us feel good. Try to smile more... Next class was Archana teacher's.
