Last few days of teaching practice
11/02/2022 Friday
I started the class by saying a motivational talk about APJ Abdul Kalam sir in order to make theam ready and get motivated. Then I gave them an activity to find the perimeter of a regular hexagon. After that I showed a slide with two questions in it, to find the difference between the perimeter of a circle and the polygon inside it. I asked them different questions and through step by step process we reached at the solution. All of them did the follow up activity that I gave. They said that they understood the class and the topic we dealt with.
At the next continuous session, we studied a new result through activity oriented class.
Result : The perimeter of Circles are in the same ratio as their diameters.
At last seesion of this day, I gave them different activities regarding the perimeter of polygons and circles. They all said that they understood what I taught.
12/02/2022. Saturday
I started the class through a motivational story about 'key of success is to focus on goals not on obstacles'. I gave them activity to check their previous knowledge. All of them did correctly. Atlast we reached the concept of pi and how it is related to the perimeter of the circle.
Result : The perimeter of a circle is π times its diameter or The perimeter of a circle is 2π times its radius.
Later session we did question regarding the perimeter of the circle using the above mentioned formula.
