Intense teaching practice phase 2: day 5

 Today I reached school at 8:45am. The class started at 09:30. After the prayer and pledge, I Started the class with a game. It was a mind tricky question.

I said the final answer of everybody, they all got astonished. Then I checked their previous day work and explained it. I then started the new portion called Different changes.

I asked a girl, Aiswarya to think about a number and then do some operations. At last by doing the Inverse operations reversely, we found the number Aiswarya think of. Then, we did similar activities, in which students did it easily. 

Yesterday, I divided the class into 6 groups and I have told them to prepare a name for their groups and tell this day. They all did and the names were nice.

The names were:

Stars, Hipster, Alpha girls, Queens of Maths, Twinkling stars, Black x 9

After the end of class I returned to our resting area.

At the remaining time I worked on my lesson plan. Later, at 12:30, we go went for the lunch. Today the menu were rice, erisherry, thoran. It was really tasty. 

At 1:30 pm, There was a quiz competition organised by History club.. The quiz was about Kerala History



9A students scored 11 out of 20 questions, Vishnupriya and Sharanya selected for district level competition. 



Later, I again worked on my lesson plans. In next hour, I went for substitution duty, in 8A..

 I just had a little conversation with the students.

They were so lovely. But time went fastly, that stunned about that, when a teacher comes afternoon class, they even do not get any chance to do oven one question!

At 03:30 pm class ended and we returned to home after signing the attendance sheet.

Being Gifted actually a Gift?

 A new task given by Deepthi teacher : Watch an education related movie and write about the educational insight reflecting in it. Watching movies is always refreashing and enjoyable. Since it is a task now, I need to not only just watch it but also observe it in a different way, by means of the intentions. I chose the movie Gifted . MTTC ൽ ഇന്ന് " കൊല " നടന്നു😱 : ഒന്നല്ല.... അതുക്കും മേലെ.🤪

Today was really an interesting day.  The first class was Maya teacher's. She started the class by reciting a few lines:  “ Anantham, ajnatam, avarnaneeyam, Ee loka golam tiriyunna maargam; Atinkalengandoridatthirunnu Nokkunna martyan kathayentu kandu?” (“Infinite, unknown and ineffable The way this cosmos moves round; What’s found the man, sitting Somewhere there, looking on?”) –  Naalappaattu Naaraayana Menon. And started the class on the topic Realism. We travelled through the Aims of education, Harmony and curriculum related with Realism. According to realism, God is a concept not a reality. And she taught us to find happiness on every little things which makes us feel good. Try to smile more... Next class was Archana teacher's.
