Limited Edition of '95

 This day was full occupied by Optional class. We only saw our Deepthi teacher's beautiful face today....  Starting with the silent prayer as usual, with teacher we had a journey through the Micro Teaching.  First our friends Kavya and Pranav presented their seminar and assignment topics respectively. Both did nicely.👍🏼👍🏼 And Shilpa told us about the book she read...'The Invisible man', which is a horror thriller. It was really interesting. After that we got the basic idea of Micro Teaching. Even though our principal Benedict sir took this portion... hearing it once again helped us to make a concrete base of the concept. Teacher taught us about different skills of micro teaching.  After that in order to prepare for micro teaching, we selected 2 skills per person through paper lot taking. I got Skill of Stimulus Variation and Skill of Blackboard. We are preparing for our micro teaching now...and are excited too...🥰 At the same time we miss our friends who are in ...

The topic was 'Skill Based Instructional Design: An Introduction'. A teacher without experience is like a fish out of water.. he repeated more than twice.  We discussed about Micro teaching, Link teaching and Macro teaching....its features and differences. 'Questions starting with "why" has a special magical power'.  Up next was about Teaching Skills. A skill is the integrated form of sub-skills. Everything based upon techniques- great techniques!!! Today was a little boring day. One reason is the bus strike and one of our friend got corona virus with her... I missed the class filled with my friends...😔😔 But don't worry friends(who is affected and are in quarantine) .... Everything will be alright....we will pray for you🙏  and we will help you with the studies.👍🏼👍🏼 But as usual... teachers were didn't forget to teach the topics.😁😁😁.  First period was Ancy teacher's. Teacher taught us about the Barriers of Communication and FIAC(Flander's System of Interaction Analysis Categories).  Today's strength😬😬 Second class was Maya teacher's. She shared some of her experiences with corona and also mentioned about 'MayaCheera'(which is her favourite variety of spinach). She then continued to teach Realism. Though the students were less she ended it earlier. Third period was occupied by Principal Sir. He continued to lecture on the topic Early steps in Teaching and Pedagogy. He dealt with Phases of ...

 First class of Psychology by Gibi miss started by reciting the lines of  famous poet Ulloor.... പേശലമല്ലൊരു വസ്തുവുമുലകിൽ പ്രേക്ഷകനില്ലെന്നാൽ... വസ്തുവിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യം കാണിയുടെ കണ്ണിലാണ്. വസ്തുവിന്റെ മൂല്യം ഉപയോജ്യതയിലാണ്. -  ഉള്ളൂർ The world of masks making us different.... Masks are changing the way we look at each other, and ourselves.  After this we entered the new topic 'Learning process'. Every individual do anything if they 'need' it....so, that will generate a drive inside us ....which make the organism in disequilibrium position....and the responses starts to occur but due to some barriers they will be blocked...finally through the perfect process of all these, our goal will be achieved. Also she taught us the another topic called 'Learning climate'. The factors affecting the environment of the learner are like...the ventillation,lighting,peer group,seating arrangement,distractions,...etc. She also mentioned about the Universal law aka 80-20% principle ...

Today was really an interesting day.  The first class was Maya teacher's. She started the class by reciting a few lines:  “ Anantham, ajnatam, avarnaneeyam, Ee loka golam tiriyunna maargam; Atinkalengandoridatthirunnu Nokkunna martyan kathayentu kandu?” (“Infinite, unknown and ineffable The way this cosmos moves round; What’s found the man, sitting Somewhere there, looking on?”) –  Naalappaattu Naaraayana Menon. And started the class on the topic Realism. We travelled through the Aims of education, Harmony and curriculum related with Realism. According to realism, God is a concept not a reality. And she taught us to find happiness on every little things which makes us feel good. Try to smile more... Next class was Archana teacher's. She continued the class on the topic 'Schools of Psychology.'  Today we started with the first ever assembly at MTTC conducted by M.Ed students. The association name was AGNI 2021. Started with the beautiful prayer, news, thought of the day, importance of the day, ....there came our MTTC college news...which was really funny. Our beloved principal Dr. Benedict sir gave us a meaningful speech through a Bamboo story. Later principal sir along with Regu sir published a book too.  The assembly dispersed by the college anthem and national anthem. It was so nice that after 6 years I attended an assembly😅. Our first class was started with our Deepthi amma. Our presentation classes continued today with Josena's topic on Language, Role intuition and Reasoning of Mathematics.  Later we had the new class of our Arts teacher. We just started the class but he gave us the idea that the coming classes will be more challenging for us. I felt great to sit in such a talent person's class. With a light equipment, he made our class with splendid waves...

 As usual the day started with the prayer at the chapel. After that, there was an inaugural function of Phonetic lab. Our beloved principal Dr. Benedict Sir inaugurated the lab. Now on students can improve their English communication if they use this facility fully. First period was taken by Ancy teacher. Teacher started to teach about Kolhberg's Theory of Moral Development. Next was Joju sir's class. He gave us ideas about 5M's and the 4 revolutions of technology. Later was Maya teacher's class. She continued to teach the school ' Naturalism' of philosophy. 4th and 5th period was optional. Our frnds Kavya and Archana done their presentations very nicely. Kavya's topic : Nature and scope of Mathematics  Archana : Presentation of the Reading and Reflection " Pathummayude Aadu" by Bashir. After that Jibi teacher taught us about Scope if educational psychology.  Last class was taken by Joju sir. We discussed about the advantages and disadvantages of M...

 Do you know how bats give birth to their young ones? Its not like " Sachin doing his sixer on air and some other catching it" said Jibi ma'am😂😂😂 The day started with Jibi teacher's interesting class about "How competent a teacher should be..." The way she taught it was...like asking a simple question, how bats give birth to their young ones?... Well the answer was not easy as it seems... None of us was able to answer that question. Which showed us , we need to be improved...we need to be competent more... Followed by Maya teacher's class on the topic Naturalism... We learnt how nature is connected with humans as well as his life physicaly ,biologically and mechanically.  Later was our optional class... Deepthi ma'am made us clear about the aims and objectives of teaching Mathematics. After that we arranged our classroom.  Afternoon was the last part of talent hunt programs. Social science and Malayalam optionals done extremely power packed perfor...

 February 11- 2021 Today was a challenging day of ours. We were the first optional class to perform talent hunt show today afternoon. We were all so tensed. First was yoga period... As usual we tried our best to do the yoga item. We did it nicely. Then was Maya teachers class. She taught us about Naturalism: the second school of philosophy.  Later Ancy teacher continued the teaching of the development stage Adolescence.  After that we ran for our practise. It was a last time practise....which made us even more tensed. Due to the absence of Sajin and Josena...we were not completely happy.  The time came....we started our program. We had a prayer, jamming, dance and a themeplay. We did well. Every techers appreciated us. Second was Physical science optional's performance. It was even more splendid. Great guys🤝🤝👌 Anyway our tension stage ended today.... Later on we are preparing to support our friends.... All the best dears....❤️❤️❤️

Today was a really really wonderful day.  Dr. Hari sir..... What a person!!! Excellent speaker....motivator....teacher..... UNDERSTANDING LEARNING TEACHING. Started from the 3 stages of teaching/learning.... Understand where you are .. Understanding the concept before teaching... The personality of a teacher/ learner... From Energisers....listening(be intellectual not be emotional)....providing contents through allegories....the learners will start to transform.  The curriculum,syllabus,text,lesson plan, class, learning: input and output.....  All these concepts were taught well with so many activities like students' involvements, songs, interactions....  A teacher should have A  S M I L E with him...  February 10-2021 Today was the Inaugural function of the 65th B.Ed batch of MTTC.  Our first official function. On this special occasion the chief guest was Dr. Prasad Sir, former VC and director of  SCERT.  Later Ancy miss took the class , which was the continuation of the previous day.  Afternoon was splendid. Because our talent hunt shows started....with M.Ed students' performances. They rocked the stage.....how talented was our seniors🥳🥳 It was really a nice day.

 February 09- 2021 The day started with Joju sir. We continued the pannel discussion. Everybody done well. Later was Ancy miss, she taught us about Later childhood. Its quiet interesting to know about ourselves...we too had come through all these stages of development without understanding anything.😅😅 Later Maya miss continued to teach us about Idealism.  Next was Deepthi teacher's class. We have a new friend. She is Aswathy....from Kottarakkara. She is really talented...we were so happy to have her.🥰 Later was Jibi miss, she taught us about the scope of educational psychology. Atlast, we all together started to clean our classroom as a part of NCTE visit...😷 😅😅😅

 February 08- 2021 Today was really a nice day. First Jibi miss took the class. She taught us how to shrink our Glass of Expectation. The way she presented it was really  interesting. Next was Maya teacher's class. She taught us about Idealism: the first school of philosophy. Also she mention about NCTE. Afternoon, the session was taken by our principal Dr.Benedict sir. It was our first interaction with him. He started to say about our generations. Like X generation, Y generation and Z generation.  It was really a nice class. Later Joju sir's class started with the panel discussion. We discussed about childlock security...password setting importance etc... Which deals with how technology can benefit as well as destroy human life if it is not done with care and thinking.  February 05- 2021 Today was the Holy Mass Day. First hour was taken by Maya miss.  As a part of subject acitivity, I got a new friend. Her name is Anie...she is Malayalam optional....a lovely girl. Also ma'am taught us about Schools of Philosophy. Later Ancy ma'am taught us about the different stages of development of a human from birth to the death.  Afternoon we were practising for our talent hunt show.  My legs are killing me....😤😤

 February 04- 2021 Today was the second Yoga day. We all were tried to do Vajrasana as good as we can.😂 He is an excellent yoga practitioner👌👌 Next was Maya teacher's class. She dealt with how philosophy connected with education. She also conducted an activity to find which animal represents each humans. I got 240 points....which made me a panda🐼😂 Later Ancy teacher taught us about different stages of development. Next was Deepthi teachers class. She continued to taught us about the 3 phases of teaching.  After lunch Joju sir continued the group disscusion presentation.  Everybody presented well. The panda is a symbol of gentleness and strength. The general meanings associated with this animal are: Gentle strength Peace Good luck, positive outlook on life Connection with Eastern wisdom The symbolism of the panda also encompasses personal and spiritual qualities, such as: Integration of polarized aspects of yourself, such as feminine and masculine energies Heart-cente...

 February 03- 2021 Today was an exciting day. Classes started with Deepthi teacher's discussion about different phases of teaching. Then she let us to work on our talent hunt program. Later Jibi teacher took a class on the topic Freud: Psycho analysis theory.  Next was Joju sir, as a part of the group discussion I represented my group 5. It was my first ever presentation on a stage. I was nervous first. But I managed to do it with all my confidence. Joju sir supported all of us. I think I did it well.  My topic was "How dangerous technology is?" It is a really important subject for many many discussions. Actually technology donot make any disadvantages...it is the hands behind it ...that is ...the humans themselves... "Technology is a very very useful servant, also technology is a very very dangerous master"

  February 02-2021 Today was also started with the prayer. The speciality of today was.... We were lucky to see our seniors' splendid performances. It made us to think about how much work we need to be done on our stage performances like talent hunt programs...  The another thing was our college anthem. At first I thought it was a tough song... But Joju sir and his beautiful singing...made it an awesome masterpiece... We all sang together....  "Maker of teachers you molded us fine........."... It was really nice.

 ഫെബ്രുവരി മാസം തുടങ്ങുകയായി. രാവിലെ 9:30 മുതൽ 12:30 വരെ ഇന്ന് ഒരു സെമിനാർ. Reflective Self Discovery. Jobi സാർ നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയ ഈ സെമിനാർ മാസ്റ്റർ ബ്ലാസ്റ്റർ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു. ഒരു ടീച്ചർ എന്തായിരിക്കണം അതിലുപരി ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ എങ്ങനെ ആയിരിക്കണം എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഉള്ള വിഷയത്തെപ്പറ്റി സാർ വളരെ ലളിതമായ ഭാഷയിലും ലളിതമായ ടാസ്ക് കളിലൂടെയും യും ഞങ്ങളെ പഠിപ്പിച്ചു. തികച്ചും പുതിയൊരു അനുഭവമായിരുന്നു ആ ക്ലാസ് .  ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെന്ന നിലയിൽ മറ്റൊരു മനുഷ്യനോട് നമുക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ട പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായ അഞ്ച് കാര്യങ്ങൾ: ബഹുമാനം, മനസ്സിലാക്കാനുള്ള കഴിവ് , കെയറിങ്, സഹകരണം ,ഉത്തരവാദിത്വം .  സാർ മറ്റൊരു കാര്യം കൂടി സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു : ഈ 5 അടിസ്ഥാന ഗുണങ്ങളും അടങ്ങിയ ഒരു വ്യക്തി മാത്രമേ ഒരാളുടെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടാവു... അത് കൂട്ടുകാർ ആണ്.   ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം മായടീച്ചർ ന്റെ  ക്ലാസ്സ്   ആയിരുന്നു.
