Limited Edition of '95

  August 24,25 and 26, 2022 In these days we all committed in exam duty to students. The duty was at forenoon and afternoon.  It was a little bit tiring. I said goodbye to all my sweet little ones and some students were crying because of my leaving... I also felt so sad.... All the memories I have got from this school made me better even more... It was so nice. And it was so memorable.....💓💓💓💓💓💓

 August 23, 2022 Today I have took Remedial Lesson Plan to students on the difficult portions they felt during the exam. I took the class with role play. I called some students to come forward for enacting some activities. They did so well and understood the topic very well.  Today the classes all ended for the students and August 24 onwards Onam exams are going to start. I wished all of them good luck. They also gave me some gifts like pens, sweets paper cuts, letters... telling about their feelings about mine... It was so heart touching.  I was really sad to say goodbye to them.

 August 22, 2022 Today, I did Diagnostic test to those students who scored minimum marks in the test. I actually told them to study the portion before head on August 20. And they did a great job. I have given enough time for them to write the answers and all of them did it well. After the lunch break, I took the conscientization class to students on Adolescence Education.  Students were so attentive. 

  August 20, 2022 Since Thursday was holiday we had class today, Saturday.  Today I did Achievement Test for my students on chapters, Equations and Polygons. It was the test out of 25 which covered all the portions and objectives. The time for exam was 40 minutes and students actually did a great job. After lunch ,I started correcting the papers. Most of the students answered most of the questions correctly. The day ended with National Anthem.

  August 17, 2022 Today, Chigam 1, in Kerala saree stepped into the school premise. All the student teachers were too in the same . Students were complimenting us for wearing it .  We actually planned to wear Kerala saree today. I taught my lesson plans at 8 C as usual. They were so active and attentive. We also clicked some pictures.. The day ended well. We welcomed the new year with great dreams ahead... 

August 16, 2022  Today TTC trainers arrived too for their school internship program . During free time we interacted with them and they all were students after plus two and a few of them were after degree course. Today I took the continuation of the chapter Polygons. I gave activity cards and activity chart along with models and ICT enabled lesson portions. Today Maya miss came to observe classes of other students.  Nothing special happened this day.    The day ended with National Anthem  Comments

  August 12, 2022  Today after morning assembly I headed to my concerned class. I have one more lesson to complete which I planned to finish off by next week. Today students were eagerly waiting for their group activity. Today I distributed the weekly presents. I selected the best group according to the marks they scored. Also I gave price to the Star of the Week and complementary price for other students too. They were all very thrilled and happy. By the end I told them to be more active in coming classes. I also divided them into another group. Later the class, I returned to the resting area and I worked on my lesson plans. The day went nicely.  

August 11, 2022   Today reached school, due to NSS camp we were shifted to third floor of the main building. It was a spacious classroom with proper light and fan facilities. I took my classes and later prepared my lesson plans. I gave them activities in order to check whether they remembered about regular polygons or not. They all understood the concept well. After lunch I got to know that finale of patriotic song competition was going to be conducted. I got the opportunity again to judge. About 6 teams were there. It amazed me how talented the students are. It was a tough decision but still managed to arrive at  conclusion . After the judgement 5th B students approached us to help them with the dance program to be held on 15th of this month . We managed to teach them few steps and formations. After that library digitization was done .  The day went really well.

August 8, 2022    Today morning assembly was there , students were assembled in the auditorium . Special pledge and speech were organized as part of Quit India movement day celebration. After that I went to my class. Our optional teacher Dr. Deepthi Elizabeth miss came for observing mine as well as my classmate's classes. I took concept attainment model of Regular Polygons. All students participated well.  My class went smooth I made use of ICT, real life examples and some GK too. Students cooperated well.

  Today, as usual, reached school at 8 45. After the prayer and pledge I reached my class and continued to teach the ongoing lesson. After the class I went bac to the resting area. At that moment, a sir from high school session approached us and asked whether we can be judges for a patriotic song competition as a part of independence day celebration. Me as well as Priyanka from MTTC were agreed to do the duty for UP section. The children with so much energy and enthusiasm came forward for singing. The program was conducted at 1pm after lunch. The judgement was not tough and confusing as most of the teams sang by looking into the paper chits. After the judgement we were asked to consolidate the marks and thus the winners were selected. It was a new experience for me together.

August 04  After the two days of leave because of the heavy rain school opened today. The day started with the prayer and followed by pledge. I went to my class and as usual continued to teach them the lesson. The number students is very less today, because of fever and rain their friends told. After the class I went for the observation classes of my three friends. Their classes was really interesting and I gathered some more tips from their class to apply on my teaching section.  After the lunch, I worked on my lesson plan and also I went to 5 B class for substitution. Those students were so loud and its so difficult to manage them. They will not hear any words of us. They just started running and quarrelling each other, so I became a little bit strict towards them. I really felt the difficulty the other teachers of UP session who are dealing with these tiny ones. After that class, I was so tired and finally the time for national anthem came to wind off the day.

 August 1.  Today I reached school at 8 45 am  There was assembly today so my first period got cut off. I was a little bit sad because there are many lesson plans to be completed.  At the time of assembly, there was raining outside and at that time I saw a familiar face and it was not but Maya teacher who came for our observation.  I got 4th period to take class on 8 C. 8 started the class with a small activity. Today I took Concept attainment model of Polygons. Then Maya teacher teacher entered classroom. Students were surprised to see her.  I continued my class using many models and charts. After a few minutes Maya teacher went ot observe another class. Anf after sometime another familiar face approached my class and asked me whether I was from MTTC. It was our beloved principal Dr. K Y Benedict sir. He also observed the class and wrote his perceptions on the record book.  After the class I went to the resting area and then worked on the lesson plans...

At first I took their attendance and then I divided them into groups. In order to make them ready I gave a small puzzle which all of them did very well.  After the game in order to check their previous knowledge I gave them activity cards. I gave winning team tally marks. Then I started to teach them the topic through so many activities. After giving follow up activity and assignment I went to the resting area.   At fourth period I again got the opportunity to take class on 8 C. So I took my last lesson plan of the chapter Equations. It was through inquiry training model. Actually students were so curious to ask questions and finally all of them find out the answer.  After that we all together did the work related to digitalising the library books.  Today I reached school at 8 45am.  After the prayer and pledge I went to my class. Today I took the new topic Different Changes in the uni Equations. I started the class with a small game. Then I gave them activity card to check their previous knowledge. After completing that question I hung a chart and ask students to fill it one by one. They all did it perfectly. Later I showed them a PPT and answered a question.  After taking review, I gave them follow up activity and assignment.  After the class I took the 2nd hour too since the Hindi teacher didn't come. So I took one more LP. It was also continuation of the first LP.  At 12 30 we went for lunch duty. Today's menu included rice gooseberry pickle, thoran and eresherry.  Today I reached school at 8 40 am. There l assembly conducted today. But it's duration was only 15 minutes. So after assembly I  to my concerned class to take the period. Today there were two girls, Parvathy and Aswathy had their birthdays. After wishing them, I started the class. My friend Priyanka came with me for the class observation. First I asked them a puzzle, they all enjoyed it amd solved it. Then in order to check their previous knowledge I gave them activity card. In the group they discussed and answered it correctly. Then I continued the class by giving them more activities. After the class I worked on my lesson plans. On fourth period I again got the opportunity to take class at my concerned class 8C.   Today I reached the school at 8 50.  After the prayer and pledge I rushed ro my classroom.  Today I started a new topic called algebraic method. Before officially starting the class, in order to make them ready Iasked them a mathematical puzzle and they answered it correctly.  To check their previous knowledge I hung an activity chart and make them to fill it one by one. Next I gave them activity card and told them to do it as the group activity. And I gave tally marks to the winners. I explained it to others. Then I told them to write a question and I showed them the model in order to make it more clearly. They understood the concept and did the answer correctly.  I then asked them what we have studied in the class and two of the students answered.  Today two girls had their birthdays: Sreelekshmi and Anamika.  Today I reached school at 8:45 am. After morning assembly which was a special assembly because today was National Lunar Day (July 21). So many student have performed songs and role plays, which was really nice. then I reached my class. I taught them more problems from the topic Algebraic Method. I first checked their previous knowledge through an activity chart. They all done it. After that, I gave activity cards to student to do it in groups. Several groups done it. I explained it to others. Later one problem has done and I asked about todays class. After doing follow up activity, I gave them assignment. After the class I worked on my lesson plan  In between of we all coordinately did the digitalizing process of library books. Today, as the part of Lunar day, the science club has organized a small exhibition.  Today I reached the school at 8:50 am. After the prayer and pledge at 9:30 I went to my concerned class. After taking attendance, I checked their previous day home work. All of them did the homework, correctly. then, to I entered to teach new questions on the topic of Algebraic Method. At first, I showed them an activity chart and told student to do the activity by their own. gave tally marks to those who done it at first, correctly. I explained it for those who didn't complete it. Next, I showed a question on my laptop, since the projector there was not working. I explained them the answer at first. And told them to write the answer by their own.. Later, as a group activity I gave question in activity cards. First two benches competed on one question and a group won. Second question done by next two benches and a winner selected and similarly one more group selected.  Today I reached school at 8:45am. The class started at 09:30. After the prayer and pledge, I Started the class with a game. It was a mind tricky question. I said the final answer of everybody, they all got astonished. Then I checked their previous day work and explained it. I then started the new portion called Different changes. I asked a girl, Aiswarya to think about a number and then do some operations. At last by doing the Inverse operations reversely, we found the number Aiswarya think of. Then, we did similar activities, in which students did it easily.  Yesterday, I divided the class into 6 groups and I have told them to prepare a name for their groups and tell this day. They all did and the names were nice. The names were: Stars, Hipster, Alpha girls, Queens of Maths, Twinkling stars, Black x 9 After the end of class I returned to our resting area.  Today I reached school at 8:45 am. Today children were so happy and playing with ther friends. I asked one child why is she so happy today?, she replied that, two days she didn't has any chance to see her friends and today she saw them, so she is happy. Time went fastly and it became 09:25 am, the prayer started and continued with pledge. At the end I went to computer lab and searched for the plug to connect my laptop because I had some ICT related matters to be shared. But, the Projector there was not working. So, I just placed it on the table and showed it to them. I started the class by showing a small game... It was totally fun and everybody enjoyed it.
